Reasons for Metal Stamping Dies Jump Crumbs

As one of the usual metal stamping defects, the causes of chipping are various, some of which are due to poor mold design, some are due to poor materials, and some are stamping operators. The first reason is that the punch or other part of the metal stamping die is abnormally scratched or damaged, resulting in micro-waste, which is mainly due to the excessive action of the material when the punch has no homologous structure.

The first reason is that the metal material stamping of the punch or other parts is abnormally scratched or damaged, resulting in fine trim. The key is that the punch must have too much material for the homogenous structure.

The second reason is that the gap of the metal material metal stamping is too large and the design of the cutter head gap is unreasonable (reasonable voids account for 4 to 6% of the material wall thickness). At the time of normal high-speed operation of metal material metal stamping, in view of the frictional working frequency of the sheet and the cutter head, the internal wear state of the cutter head causes the cutter head to be excessively large.
The third reason is that the raw material has been metal surface treated before the stamping of the mold, and there is a non-structural fusion condition in the metal surface treatment layer, which causes the material edge to peel off and fall off.
Another reason is that the punch of the metal material metal stamping has magnetic attraction, which causes the adsorption force to cause the sheet to bounce.
