The relationship between metal stamping die and spring

In either process, we always hope that the total height of the nitrogen springs should not be too high to avoid instability and too complex to install on the mold. The larger the stroke, the higher the price of the nitrogen springs. This is especially important for the independent nitrogen springs. If the stroke is large due to the process requirements, it is recommended to use nitrogen spring seat plate system, which can reduce the die height and improve the stability and reliability of nitrogen spring. Sometimes, for safety and avoid accidents, increase the safety of 3~5 mm when choosing nitrogen spring.

1. Selection of nitrogen spring stroke in blanking process In separation process, nitrogen spring is used as ejector and unloader. Stroke requirements are small, l0 mm can meet the needs, but in the actual selection of nitrogen springs, it is best to choose 20-30 mm stroke, because the minimum length of the nitrogen springs is 20 mm. The working range of the mold is small, and the structure of the mold is not affected by choosing the nitrogen spring with larger stroke. The working area of the nitrogen spring can be changed after the mold has been used for a certain period of time, which is beneficial to the use of a nitrogen spring in a variety of molds, thereby improving the service life of the nitrogen spring.

2. In the drawing process, the nitrogen spring stroke is used to obtain the blank holder force, and the blank holder force is required to be basically constant. When choosing the nitrogen spring stroke, the drawing depth of the part, the radius of the concave die, the safe margin of the stroke and other factors should be considered for the drawing-shaping process. In order to design a limited position device in the shaping die to limit the shaping stroke, the stroke of the nitrogen spring is equal to the height of the part plus 3-5 mm is enough. It is not necessary to choose too large journeys to avoid waste. For cylindrical drawing, in order to obtain the parts conveniently, ensure the quality of the drawing parts and improve the dimensional accuracy of the drawing parts, the stroke of nitrogen spring is equal to the height of the parts increased by 8-10 mm. In short, the deep drawing process uses nitrogen spring to press the edge, and the stroke is equal to the height of the parts plus 3 I0 mm. If nitrogen springs are used to eject deep drawing workpieces, the choice of stroke is not so strictly limited, and can be determined according to specific circumstances.

3. In the process of bending and flanging, the choice of nitrogen spring is in the process of bending and flanging. The stroke is larger. In addition to the height of the parts, the surplus of 10-20 iq]m is needed to reduce the springback of the workpiece. This surplus can also be used to adjust the pre-tightening force of the die. Using its characteristic curve, we can adjust it on the press. The starting position can get different forces. Practice has proved that this is convenient for parts quality and mold adjustment.
